I recently had the opportunity to give an interview at the Tremblant Forum on Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability, hosted by National Public Relations. The conference explored the impact of social media on corporate social responsibility and sustainable development.
I was asked a number of questions about how social media affects stakeholder engagement:
(What's a 'stakeholder'? Good question - click here for the answer.)
- Should social media affect a company's perspective of "stakeholder"? (Yes, and I mentioned the networking guru @heidiekmassey as my proof point.)
- Is it culture or social media that's driving the changes in how we communicate the messages of CSR and Corporate Citizenship?
- What are some of the ways that companies might experiment to build connections between companies and stakeholders?
- Why does social media demand new understandings when it comes to communicating a company's CSR goals and strategies?

- @MolsonFerg - Chief Public Affairs Officer of Molson Coors Canada
- Eric Darier - Quebec Director & Agriculture campaign Coordinator at Greenpeace Canada
- Cristelle Basmaji - VP Communications, Jacob (I really looked, but couldn't find a link for Cristelle anywhere on Linkedin, Facebook or Twitter, so you'll just have to use old-fashioned google to find out more about her).

You are better on this video with tourettes than anyone I know on a really great day! WOW! You really have a skill here. Every video you do just rocks it!
Thanks for the mention...and as usual, breaking not so simple concepts into easily digestible chunks that anyone can understand.
The world needs to know about you...BIG TIME!!!
Thanks for your good words Heidi!
Looking forward to seeing you on video as well someday soon.
This is bar none the nicest most professional blogspot blog I have ever seen. Well done. Your CSR related content is equally well prepared. I came here through Amplify following a tweet from Ferg about Facebook settings. This is good work Chris!
Thanks for the good words Robert. We try pretty hard to make sure we put out useful and accessible content. Glad to hear the path you used to get to our blog. Ferg is a great guy, I'm sure he'll take you lots of good places across the web.
Thanks again and look forward to interacting further. If you're on twitter, let's connect there as well.
